Custodians of the South West's period windows.
Our workshop · Unit 18, 178 Whiteladies Road, Bristol BS8 2AG
"A well-made sash window can outlive the people who fit it. Our job is to make sure it does."
Avon Sash Window Specialists was founded in Bristol, with a simple conviction: original timber windows are worth saving. Too many beautiful Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian sashes are torn out when careful restoration would serve the home — and its character — far better.
From our workshop on Whiteladies Road, we repair, rebuild and handcraft sash windows for homeowners, landlords, architects and heritage bodies across the entire South West. Every project is surveyed, priced and delivered by the same small, dedicated team.
Our joiners are time-served, fully insured, and trained in both traditional joinery and modern glazing techniques — so whether your home is listed, sits in a conservation area, or simply deserves better than replacement PVCu, the work is carried out by people who genuinely understand period property.
